“Living in the Spirit” class is at 9:45 a.m. Sundays. Children’s church is at 10:45 a.m. Nursery up through age 3 is provided at 10:45 a.m. Sundays and by request on Sunday night and at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
Bible study classes begin at 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Worship is also held at 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Choir rehearsal begins at 4 p.m. today.
Men’s Prayer Breakfast begins at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday. Wednesday evening’s prayer service is at 6:30 p.m.
Greetings from Ms. Moore’s Class at Cypress Springs Elementary! We have already been very busy in our class this year. We have enjoyed welcoming our new classmates from Glen View. Those of us that were at Cypress Springs last year have done a great job showing our new friends around, and helping them learn what Wildcats are all about!
Parents with children in grades three through eight should be aware of major end-of-year testing changes this year, according to Lincoln Parish School District Coordinator Donna Doss.
“We’re going to have to work really hard to get our kids ready for this,” Doss said.
An article on the literacy of Medieval and Early Modern youth by Celia Lewis, the Charlyne Smith Wyche Endowed Professor of English and a composition coordinator at Louisiana Tech University, has been published in Children’s Literature, the Modern Language Association’s journal published annually by Johns Hopkins University Press.
