So if you had to come up with the most interesting or fascinating or headline-worthy names for 2010, who would you choose?

Sandra Bullock, the cast of “Glee,” Lady Gaga, Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints, the cast of “Jersey Shore,” Kate Middleton, Mark Zuckerberg, Betty White, LaBron James, Justin Bieber . . . these are among the names that seemed to consistently cross the lips of the masses during 2010.

And while many of those selections could be found within Parade Magazine’s first annual “Personalities of the Year” issue, none of them topped the list nor made the cover.
Instead, we were treated to a quintet of commoners whose voices even captured the attention of our commander in chief.
