Community Trust Bank has announced that Linnea Fayard Allen has joined the bank as Culture Communications Officer. In this position Linnea will be responsible for internal and external communications regarding the bank’s unique customer-centric culture.

The Dubach Town Council got good news Tuesday night about its 2014 town audit.
Certified public accountant Don McGehee told the council the town is fiscally sound. About a report on the town’s financial statements through June 30, 2014, McGehee said the town is in a good place.
“The town is healthy financially from a cash flow stand point,” McGehee said. “When we look at the general operations of the town, they are not funding themselves entirely, but (they) are not way behind.”
Ruston’s Board of Aldermen will be asked to take the first steps Monday toward a citywide street improvement program and a curbside recycling program.
Resolutions authorizing Mayor Ronny Walker to sign contracts on the city’s behalf with companies that will do the initial work on both programs are among the agenda items for the board’s regular monthly meeting. The meeting convenes at 5:30 p.m. Monday in the courtroom at City Hall.
