Members of the Ruston-based Piney Hills Harmony chorus of Sweet Adelines rehearse for their upcoming show, “Christmas on the Bayou,” set for 7 p.m. Saturday at White’s Ferry Road Church of Christ in West Monroe. Interim director Sheila Stepp Nugent, of Ruston, conducts a segment of the 28 members.

Ringing in the holiday season just got easier.

That’s because there’ll be plenty of ringing chords Saturday, when the Piney Hills Harmony chorus of Sweet Adelines and an international champion men’s barbershop quartet from Dallas present “Christmas on the Bayou.”

Curtain time is 7 p.m. at White’s Ferry Road Church of Christ, 3201 N. 7th St., in West Monroe. The two-hour show will include numerous songs by the Ruston-based Piney Hills Harmony, 45 minutes of harmony from the international champs Acoustix, plus segments by three chorus quartets and an ensemble.
