Ruston decides rezoning issues

After extensive discussion regarding expansion of a business at 104 King Ave. which would involve additional structures and large truck traffic, Reg Shurling’s request application to rezone a lot from R-10 One Family Residential to B-2 Light Business was unanimously denied by the Board.

The second property met with rapid approval. That was an application for rezoning from R-10 Single Family Residential to B-2 Light Business. The request came from Miracle Temple of God in Christ at 1405 South Farmerville for a day care program. The board approval was unanimous.
