Holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas often make me feel like a child again, as memories of so many wonderful times with family and friends come flooding back into my mind.

But Halloween is a different story. I loved the holiday as a child growing up in New Orleans, but it just doesn’t feel the same anymore, and that can leave me feeling old.
