Billy Aycock said the group — which calls itself "United Citizens for Choice" — is out to make sure elected officials do "what the folks who elected them want them to do. If they don't, we can change things at the next election."
Among the elected officials who attended the meeting in northwest Lincoln Parish were Sen. Robert Kostelka, R-Monroe; Reps. Rick Gallot, D-Ruston, and Hollis Downs, R-Ruston; District Attorney Bob Levy; Lincoln Parish Sheriff Mike Stone; Lincoln Parish Tax Assessor Pam Jones; and District 4 Police Juror Terry Knowles.
