Rental currently running town’s sewage lift station

GRAMBLING — Grambling’s City Council held a special-called meeting Friday night in an attempt to ensure its residents have proper sewage treatment.

The City Council passed a motion to buy two new pumps for the Lift Station on U.S. Higway 80 while also passing three resolutions, two of which are designed to add sewers to areas in the town that don’t have sewage. The other resolution was to advertise for bids for additional improvements to Grambling’s water wells, and in particular Well No. 4.

All three resolutions, and the motion to purchase the sewage pumps, passed unanimously.
