Ordering food is a game of chance
It’s like a game. A surprise of sorts.
I sometimes tell people, “When I pick up my food at a restaurant drive-thru window, it’s interesting to see how close the food preparers get to what I actually ordered.”
Earlier this week, I ordered a chicken sandwich with no pickle and mustard added. It showed on the screen that I ordered the sandwich with mayonnaise added, and also ordered a soda. I let the mysterious voice listening to my order know I did not want a combo meal.
