Grambling aldermen eye lawsuit
GRAMBLING — It looks like more court time may be in store for Grambling’s City Council.
The City Council has a special-called meeting at 5 p.m. Tuesday to discuss a potential lawsuit regarding a website being designed for the city.
During an Aug. 5 council meeting, Grambling’s aldermen expressed concern over Mayor Martha Andrus signing a check for $7,760 to pay for a website for the city despite the fact that work on the website has not been completed. The council also expressed concern that they felt Andrus, by authorizing the payment, had entered into a contract without their knowledge or approval.
