Kate Dykes recently organized a football lesson-luncheon to not only promote her husband’s career and passion, but to encourage better communication between the sexes.

The wife of Louisiana Tech head football coach Sonny Dykes launched “Pigskins and Pearls” in hopes of educating interested women about the sport through demonstrations and literature.

“Usually, it’s just men involved in football, but it can be a lot of fun for women, too,” Kate Dykes said.
