I often find myself inwardly laughing at my parents’ puzzled faces when my little brother or I attempt to explain the intricacies of Facebook or a simple Wii game. They, along with, I’m sure, millions of parents around the globe, fail to grasp the use of such tools that we, the digital generation, can’t seem to survive without. How is it that living has transformed so radically, whereas for thousands of years — up until mere decades ago — play and work remained virtually unchanged?
