Members of Lincoln Little League’s 11-12 divisional team display the banner they won after capturing a recent state championship in Lake Charles. Ruston’s Lincoln Little League captured the 11-12 year old first-ever state championship at Huber Park in Lake Charles earlier this week.

Lincoln is the first North Louisiana team ever to capture the state title.

Coming into the championship game, LLL was considered to be the hands down favorite with a record of 5-0 since post season tournament play began on June 25.
