’Dogs, GSU clubs open league play

In San Jose, Calif., it’s a Western Athletic Conference opener for the ’Dogs.

As far as the Lady Techsters are concerned, their WAC schedule won’t start until Jan. 8 against Nevada in Reno. Meanwhile, Tech will play a final non-league contest Saturday against McNeese State at Lake Charles.

Tipoff times for the GSU-A&M doubleheader are 5 p.m. (women) and 7 p.m. (men).
Tech’s women play at 5 p.m. and the men at 8:30 p.m.
