Economic &#39;stimulation&#39; needed
It can’t come quick enough: I’m watching prices climb all around me while my purchasing power dwindles, literally, from the start of the day to the end.
It feels like our economy is a wet paper bag and we’re dropping oranges in it. And something about the moniker “economic stimulus” has a bitter taste, like calling a newsroom a “local information center.”
It’s a buzz word. It feels, to me, to minimize the monetary issues Americans are faced with — how does a one-shot deal right a ship listing from months of economic hardship?
