Tech students pick up Peach prize
There is no need to dig or plow, for the treasure will not be found by the sweat of your brow.
Somehow, someway, those two sentences and 36 words were enough to guide two Louisiana Tech students in the right direction Monday.
While sitting in Ponchatoula's eating lunch, John Dooley, 23, and Will Cummings, 22, heard the first Peach Hunt clue on the radio.
After finishing their lunches, they headed out in search of the prize.
"We figured it was in a park somewhere," Dooley recalled. "We checked Hideaway Park."
