’Dogs open WAC play at Nevada
A four-game series is set over the next three days, with single contests scheduled for tonight and Friday at 6 p.m. and then a doubleheader on Saturday starting at 1 p.m.
With a deep group of veteran players and the host role for the late May postseason tournament, Tech is a preseason runner-up choice by the head coaches in the seven-member league race.
“Our players are excited about getting the conference season under way,” said head coach Wade Simoneaux. “This is when you want to be at your best and play your best baseball.”
