Dwyer dented defenses in ’07
He became the go-to member of the Cougars’ high-scoring offense, one that would average 37.5 points per game during the regular season and a major component of the club’s eventual drive to a District 2-1A championship and No. 1 ranking among all Class 1-A schools in the weekly Louisiana Sports Writers Association poll.
Dwyer was here, there and everywhere for Cedar Creek.
He finished the regular season as the top scorer in the state, regardless of classification, with a total of 188 points on 29 touchdowns, a dozen extra point kicks and a two-point conversion.
