Dubach girls, five boys’ teams remain alive in postseason

Dubach High School star Sue Keys (with basketball) will help lead the Lady Hornets into a Class C Louisiana High School Athletic Association quarterfinal round home playoff game against Atlanta tonight. Keys scored 30 points in the team’s 80-55 regional round victory over Atlanta.
Five Lincoln Parish teams remain in the boys’ division of the Louisiana High School Athletic Association basketball playoffs.
As good fortune would have it, all of those squads will be on their own courts Tuesday night for quarterfinal round action.
Ruston (27-6) will meet Scotlandville (29-1) , Choudrant (28-12) will tangle with Castor (35-5), Dubach (10-17) will go up against Sicily Island (28-4, New Living Word School (29-11) will battle against Family Christian (25-14) and Simsboro (26-6) will play Midland (28-7).
