Walk for a healthy heart
My mom always made sure I was active when I was younger. I would roller skate down the road while she walked, and when I was in high school, I took jazz class and played tennis. However, it’s amazing how quickly those good habits faded when I was on my own.
I’m trying to pick them back up, though, not just for my sake, but for the sake of the children I will have in the future. I want to set a good example for them and help them realize that their hearts are precious and need just as much care as any other part of the body.
