Funeral services for Reeves Allen Stephenson, age 90, of Lafayette, LA will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston. Officiating the service will be Rev. Jerry Squyres. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Choudrant, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston.

Mr. Stephenson was born September 16, 1922 in Kilbourne, LA and passed away January 22, 2013 in Lafayette, LA. He is preceded in death by wife: Marnee Collie Stephenson; parents: John Cowan Stephenson and Blanche Eloise Smith Stephenson; brothers: Francis, John C. and Silas A.; sisters: Maxine Davis, Mary Tretter and Dorothy Johnson.

Mr. Stephenson served in the United States Navy from October 25, 1942 to February 6, 1946. He graduated from LA Tech in Civil Engineering In 1949 and retired from T.L. James in 1992. He was a member of VFW and Grace United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his son: Mark A. Stephenson and wife Mary; daughter: Susan Daniels and husband Dave; grandchildren: Jennifer Rickard and husband Joshua, Anne Scarsella and husband Steve, Michelle Craft and husband Brandon, and Christopher Daniels and wife Jennie; great grandchildren: Jacob Rickard, Julie Rickard, Luca Scarsella and Caroline Scarsella; sisters: Carrie Martorana and Ann Barrier.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Daniels, Joshua Rickard, Steve Scarsella, Brandon Craft, , Steve Betts, and Wayne Howard.

Honorary pallbearers will be John Chris Stephenson, Kent Follette and J.C. Howard.
In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the Hospice of Acadiana, 2600 Johnston St, Lafayette, LA 70503 or charity of your choice.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Friday, January 25, 2013 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston.
