Defreese, Windham prepare for fall nuptials
Amy Defreese, of Choudrant, and Walter Windham II, of Monroe, are pleased to announce their engagement and forthcoming wedding.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Steve and Kay Defreese, of Ruston. She is the granddaughter of Pearl Defreese, of Ruston, the late Travis Defreese, Mary White, of Nashville, Tenn., and the late Kenneth White. Amy is a 2010 graduate of Choudrant High School and a 2011 graduate of Louisiana Technical College. She is currently employed as a nurse at St. Joseph Nursing Home.
Walter is the son of Joan and Layne Adams, of Downsville, and Walter Windham, of Libson, Ohio. He is the grandson of Ann Pettit, of Monroe, the late Frank Pettit, the late Robert Windham and the late Carolyn Windham. Walter is a 2008 graduate of Neville High School and attended Southwestern Assemblies of God University. He is currently employed with Hallmark.
The couple plan to wed on Sept. 6.
