Landmark on verge of collapse?
“What we have is one corner where there was some significant sagging in the floors, which caused the walls to move,” Alfred said.
That buckling has been completely shored up, Alfred said, but the fixes are temporary.
They will be tended to until capital outlay money for a project to renovate the inside of the building is in hand, he said.
“There’s no imminent danger of collapse,” Alfred said. “All of the sagging has been arrested, there is no more continuous sagging.”
