Following last week's mass shooting at an elementary school in Connecticut, local schools are reviewing their current crisis plans, as well as looking at implementing additional security measures.

Lincoln Parish Schools Superintendent Danny Bell said all schools currently have crisis management plans, which are reviewed annually.

“Contained in any crisis management plan is also a lockdown in the case of an intruder,” Bell said. “Those plans are shared with local law enforcement agencies.”
