Notice is hereby given that by virtue of a Writ of Seizure and Sale issued out of the Honorable Third Judicial District Court in the above entitled and numbered cause, and to me directed, I have seized and taken into my possession and will offer for sale at public auction, at the principal front door of the Court House in Ruston, Lincoln Parish, LA, between the hours governing judicial sales on WEDNESDAY, January 2, 2013 beginning at 10:00 A.M., the following described property situated in Lincoln Parish, LA, to wit:
Commencing at an existing 1-1/4 inch iron pipe at the Northwest corner of the Northwest quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section 19, Township 20 North, range 3 West, Lincoln Parish, Louisiana, thence run South 89š 43’ 06” East along the Section line for a distance of 224.00 feet to a P-K nail in the centerline of Beckham Road; thence run South 30š 29’ 15” West along said centerline for a distance of 79.79 feet to a point; thence run South 26š 00’ 24” West along said centerline for a distance of 78.23 feet to a point; thence run South 19š 34’ 45” West along said centerline for a distance of 74.76 feet to a P-K nail; thence run South 10š 04’ 16” West along said centerline for a distance of 73.01 feet to a point; thence run South 05š 49’ 23” West along said centerline for a distance of 87.12 feet to a point; thence run South 02š 29’ 29” West along said centerline for a distance of 23.09 feet to a cotton picker spindle; thence, leaving said centerline, run South 89š 43’ 47” East for a distance of 1,228.19 feet to a 5/8” inch rebar on the forty line; thence run South 00š 42’ 34” West along the forty line for a distance of 268.96 feet to an existing two inch iron pipe; thence run North 89š 43’ 47” West for a distance of 1,330.16 feet to an existing two inch iron pipe on the quarter section line; thence run North 00š 19’ 30” East along the quarter section line for a distance of 660.70 feet back to the point of beginning, containing 9.503 acres, more or less, being shown as tract 2” on the map of survey dated October 31, 2006 by William T. Lowe, PLS, together with all buildings and improvements thereon.
Seized as the property of defendant Byron T. Gipson and Pamela E. Gipson and will be sold to satisfy writ and all cost. Terms of sale cash with benefit of appraisement. This 23rd day of November, 2012.
