Walpole, O'Neal unite in matrimony
Lindsey Walpole, of Ruston, and Kyle O'Neal, of Warren, Ark., were united in matrimony in a 6 p.m. ceremony Nov. 17 at Temple Baptist Church in Ruston. Ofﬁciating the double-ring ceremony was Dr. Rick Byargeon.
Lindsey is the daughter of Steve and Ginger Walpole, of Ruston, and she is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.N. Walpole, of Ruston, and Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Gunter, of Navasota, Texas.
Kyle is the son of Eddie and Linda O'Neal, of Warren. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Williams and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ray O'Neal.
Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a strapless, ivory Oleg Cassini gown made of beaded lace, pleated tulle tiers, with a chapel-length train. The ivory ﬁngertip veil featured two tiers of beaded tulle. The bride carried white hydrangeas, peonies, Eden roses, blush dahlias, ivory lisianthus, ivory freesia and white ranunculuss and wrapped ivory ribbon with an antique broach.
Serving as matron of honor was Laura Walpole Worley, of Little Elm, Texas. Bethany Cox, of Ruston, Lauren Durrett, of Ruston, Holly Emerson, of Corpus Christi, Texas, Marci O'Neal, of Warren, Cassie Frasier Pearce, of Baton Rouge, and Melinda Remy Penny, of Prairieville, served as bridesmaids.
The bridesmaids wore a full-length chocolate brown gown designed by Alfred Sung that featured a rufﬂed neckline, ﬂat bow detail and an empire waist. The bridesmaids carried antique hydrangeas, peonies, Eden roses, blush dahlias and ivory freesia wrapped with blush pink satin ribbon with an antique broach.
Ryan Haight, of Ruston, served as the best man. Jacob Ambrose, of Shreveport, Steven Dearman, of Baton Rouge, Patrick Golden Jr., of Vidalia, Matthew Powell, of Little Rock, Ark., Josh Vines, of West Monroe, and J.D. Whittemore, of Austin, Texas, served as groomsmen.
Michael Davis, of Ruston, Adrian Pacheco, of Warren, Philip Roberts of Fountain Hill, Ark., Bracy Wilson, of Rayville, and Zachary Wilson, of Calhoun, served as ushers.
Samantha Grace Douglas, of Spring, Texas, served as the ﬂower girl, while Luke Douglas, also of Spring, and Chance Hollis, of Hamburg, Ark., served as ring bearers. The ring bearers carried family Bibles.
Music was provided by Denise Cox, Morgan Moore, Scott Smith and Jed Walpole.
Prior to the ceremony, a rehearsal dinner hosted by the groom's family was held at Scott Hamilton Warehouse at 7 p.m. Nov. 16.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Lincoln Parish Events Center and catered by Aramark.
Leading up to the ceremony, various parties and showers were given to honor the couple.
On June 9, an engagement party was held at the Ropp House. Hosting the event were Denise and Kenny Cox, Sheryl and Tommy Durrett, Leah and Courtney Hall, Diane and Bobby Hennigan, Liz and Ivin Hood, Jan and Stanton Martin, Angel and Milt May, Sherri and Jim Pearce, Anita and Neal Walpole, Pam and Mike Walpole, Ruth and J.N. Walpole and Jon Anne and Charles Winstead.
On Sept. 8, at Temple Baptist Church, a bridal shower was given by Faith Alexander, Faith Arrant, Suzanne Burkhalter, Joan Marie Edinger, Sally Graham, Betty Hinton, Diana Humphries, Cynthia Mitcham, Anita Pumphrey, Caryl Scriber and Miram Stone.
On Sept. 16, a bridal shower was given by the members of First Baptist Church of Warren.
On Oct. 13, a couple's shower was given at the home of Skip and Denise Stinson, hosted by Claire and Dale Carroll, Becky and Bud Langston, Julie and Warren Post, Edna and Dan Smith, Denise and Skip Stinson and Cheryl and Byron Williams.
A bridesmaid luncheon was hosted by Brenda and Leslie Brister.
After a honeymoon in Antigua, the couple will reside in West Monroe.
