Cameras help Tech apprehend suspects


The upgraded video surveillance camera system on Louisiana Tech University campus reportedly played an important role in apprehending two burglary suspects this week.
In the summer, Tech utilized student technology funds to increase the number of surveillance cameras on campus from around eight or nine to about 40.

Louisiana Tech University Police Assistant Chief Bill Davis said the department received a report of a vehicle burglary on campus on Nov. 8.
