’Dogs on a mission Saturday
“I’m sure once Friday and Saturday gets here, it will happen,” Dooley admitted when asked if there will be any nervous ‘flutters’ regarding his liftoff into the head coaching ranks. “But every day here so far has been an adventure and I’ve really been more concerned with making sure that we’re well prepared.
“When it comes to game time, however, I am sure I’ll start worrying a llittle more. Right now, though, my main worry is not letting our team down.”
Dooley has return to the college profession after a two-year stay as tight ends’ coach of the NFL’s Miami Dolphins.
