Funeral services for Margie Jean McElduff, age 77, of Choudrant will be held Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston. Officiating the service will be Rev. Karl Norris. Interment will follow at Cartwright Cemetery near Choudrant, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston.

Ms. McElduff was born September 25, 1935 in Eros, LA and passed away October 31, 2012 following complications from Alzheimer’s disease.

She was a lifelong resident of the Cartwright Community. She was a loving care giver for her mother and father, Jim and Myrtle Kelley McElduff, who preceded her in death. Even though Margie had no children of her own she dearly loved children and spent many days taking care of nieces and nephews. Many of them call her their second mother

Ms. McElduff is survived by one brother: Billy J. McElduff and wife Pam of Choudrant, LA; and five sisters: Barbara Norris of Choudrant, LA; Lina Mae Eschberger and husband Bob of Frankston, TX; Jo Ann Neaville Wheelis and husband Dale of Eros, LA; Gloria Leachman and husband John of
Bossier City, LA; Patricia Clingfost and husband Forrest of Houston, TX, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to service time on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston.

Pallbearers will be Phillip Neaville, Bruce Neaville, Erroll Neaville, Walter McElduff, Billy Bennett, and Dale Wheelis.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Norris and Glen Neaville.

The family would like to express thanks to Dr. Edward Mariano and the staff at Ruston Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, and Professional Hospice Care of Ruston for their loving care of our sister.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the “Mama Mac” Nursing Scholarship at Louisiana Tech School of Nursing.
