SHREVEPORT — Louisiana Tech University almost pulled off a miracle comeback at Independence Stadium early this morning — yes, this morning — before being edged 59-57 in a wild and wacky Top 25 showdown against Texas A&M.

The Bulldogs (5-1) trailed by 27-0 in the first half before rallying to within two points (46-44, 59-57) twice against the Aggies (5-1) in the final five minutes of play.
