CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — Louisiana Tech entered Saturday’s showdown with Virginia as one of the hottest teams in the country. The only team to score over 50 points in each game this season, and with a 10-game regular season winning streak, the Bulldogs arrived in historic Charlottesville with plenty of hype.

But, when it looked like they would depart with their first loss of the year, they came to life and did just enough.
