Keep track of blood pressure
When one visits the doctor, having their blood pressure checked is often part of the standard routine.
And during last weekend’s Safety Saturday, presented by the Ruston fire and police departments at Lowe’s, Louisiana Tech nursing students were present to take attendees’ blood pressure.
So why is it so important that people frequently keep track of their blood pressure? Because if the readings are high, it can mean one is at risk for many serious health problems.
