The Lincoln Parish Police Jury is taking another look at speed limit signs on rural roads.

Parish Administrator Courtney Hall said although some parish roads have posted speed limits, others do not, and this sometimes results in complaints from the residents who live there.

By state law, if there is no sign, the speed limit on the rural roads is 55 miles per hour, said Hall, who warned against setting the speed limit too low.
