The Department of Visual and Performing Arts at Grambling State University is pleased to announce its first main stage production of the 2012-13 season, “Miss Evers’ Boys,” by David Feldshuh.

Nurse Evers is hired by the government to aid four gentlemen being “treated” for syphilis in Tuskegee, Ala. When the government’s money runs out, she stays with them until a cure is found. However, a cure never finds them. Based on the actual events of the Tuskegee experiment, the audience becomes witnesses to the day-to-day operation of a governmental experiment gone wrong.
