CHOUDRANT TOWN Council MINUTES
VILLAGE OF CHOUDRANT August 6, 2012
The Village of Choudrant Town Council met in regular session. Present were Mayor Bill Sanderson, Alderman Ragan Aswell, Alderman John Croswell, Alderman Ricky Maier and guests. Meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Mayor Sanderson. Mayor Sanderson gave prayer. Motion to approve the agenda was made by Alderman Aswell, seconded by Alderman Croswell. Approved. Motion to approve the minutes of July 2, 2012, was made by Alderman Aswell, seconded by Alderman Croswell. Approved.
Financial Report- Mayor Sanderson presented the financial report
Police Report - 8 tickets
Fire Report - 5 alarms
New Business -
Mayor Sanderson explained the reason for the Ordinance authorizing the sale of bonds. Discussion. Motion was made by Alderman Croswell to introduce the Ordinance and set the hearing date for the next regular meeting on September 10, 2012.
Old Business -
Mayor Sanderson noted a typographical error in the Water Rate ordinance that was to be presented, that incorrectly set the fee for a _ inch meter tap at $395, instead of the discussed $695, Mayor Sanderson explained the ordinance process and opened the Public Hearing for the water rate ordinance. As there was no comment from the guests, Mayor Sanderson closed the Public Hearing. Discussion. Alderman Croswell made a motion to approve the water rate ordinance, with the correction of the error that would change the printed rate of $395 for a _ inch tap to the discussed $695. Alderman Aswell seconded the motion. Approved.
Motion to adjourn was made by Alderman Aswell and seconded by Alderman Maier. Approved. Adjourned at 7:25 p.m..
