Students learn ‘value’ of education

Macy’s or Goodwill, iPhone or Go Phone and Escalade or Malibu? These were some of the choices Ruston Junior High School students were faced with during the Reality Fair held at the school on Friday.

The Boys and Girls Clubs of North Central Louisiana, funded with a $3,000 grant from Taco Bell to help prevent students from dropping out, was designed to show students in a hands-on way what life is like with various levels of education.
