A tree fell across Arizona Avenue beside the Lincoln Parish School Board central office on Thursday, taking various utility lines down with it.

After a small interruption from Tropical Storm Isaac, Lincoln Parish is back in full swing today.

Kip Franklin, director of the Lincoln Parish Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness, said as of Thursday afternoon the Emergency Operations Center has been moved from partial activation back to standby for the remainder of the storm.
