SUBJECT: Committee Report
The Personnel/Benefits Committee of the Lincoln Parish Police Jury met in the Police Jury Meeting Room, Third Floor, Lincoln Parish Courthouse, July 10, 2012, at 6:00 p.m. Present were: Theresa Wyatt, David Hammons, Joe Henderson, and Sharyon Mayfield.
ABSENT: Walter Pullen and Ronny Walker
Joe Henderson called the meeting to order and delivered the invocation. Sharyon Mayfield offered a motion, seconded by David Hammons, to approve the Agenda. There being no public comment, the motion was voted upon and carried with the following votes:
YEAS: Wyatt, Hammons, Henderson, and Mayfield
ABSENT: Pullen and Walker
(Mr. Pullen entered the meeting.)
Courtney Hall, Parish Administrator, presented the Board and Commission Appointment Policies and Procedures Manual to the committee for review and discussion. The following pending appointments were announced for consideration at the August meeting: Fire District Commission (two appointments), Northeast Delta Human Services Authority (two appointments), Sparta Groundwater Conservation District (one nominee), Keep Lincoln Parish Beautiful (one at-large member and one Simsboro representative), and the Fire Training Center Commission (one appointment). It was also announced that upcoming appointments for the Greater One Water Works District, Mt. Olive Waterworks District, Tremont Waterworks District, and the North Louisiana Exhibition Center would be considered at a later date. There being no other business to come before the Committee, the meeting was adjourned.
