My name is Raymond Bernard Saulsberry Jr. My friends call me “Big Homey.” I am 47 years old. I grew up in a pool hall and learned to hustle in the streets. I know “dollars for dominoes” first hand. I was a thief — a really good one too. I could steal the taste out of your mouth while you were still chewing. I knew all the faces and facets of the con game. I can spot a scam a mile away. But, I did not know love and loyalty until a bald-headed black preacher challenged me over six years ago while I was incarcerated at the Lincoln Parish Detention Center.
