Dozens of faculty, staff to retire
Daniels has not always worked in the comptroller’s office, though she has spent the majority of her time at Tech in her current position.
“I started out in the College of Life Sciences and worked there for 10 years, and then I was a cashier in the comptroller’s office for a couple of years,” she said. “I will miss the people the most, absolutely. This is an office of 22 to 25 people, and we’ve shared births, deaths, marriages — we’re all family. There’s not a lot of turnover in this office, and we all share a history.
“I enjoy what I do. I truly do.”
