This summer is bursting at the seams with arts events. Everywhere you look Ruston is having shows, performances and camps. Next week and this weekend are no exception.

From 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, Sundown Tavern will host “Embrace the Enchantment” artworks of Emily Ezell and a live acoustic show featuring Bethany Raybourne. Sundown will provide wine and hors d’oeuvres on the patio.

Ezell, who says that she hopes to “cater to the viewer's childhood memories, their fantasies and clandestine mysticism” entails thought provoking and engaging work. It questions why society is drawn to certain colors, symbols or imagery.
