Pesky plants easy to kill
It is pretty inevitable to say we all could use some rain. The lawns are suffering as well as our gardens. Maybe if several of us go out and wash our vehicles we might be able to see some of that liquid sunshine. The last time I had my car serviced and washed it rained for three days.
This year we have had less tomato problems than we have had for many years. By the middle of May, in most years, the telephone is generally ringing off the hook with problems. I have often wished I had an answering machine that had “If you have tomato problems dial one for a prerecorded message on tomato problems.” In most years this would answer most of all the incoming calls. This year we have had poor pollination, which “Blossom Set” will help and blossom end rot which “Stop Rot” will prevent, as the main problems, and not many of those problems.
