With the United States currently in the midst of an election year and the country seeming more divided than usual, one thing is always certain: No matter who runs the nation, we all deal with the decisions and actions that are taken by government.

No matter what race, religion or gender, we are all subjected to the government, and we all hope our decisions as a whole leave us with the right people in charge for the job.

One way many people try and seek guidance for the country is through prayer, and with today set as the National Day of Prayer, people of all faiths should practice their freedom of religion by taking time out to pray for the nation and its leaders.
