Was he brazen or not? Recently our President challenged the Supreme Court to uphold his health care overhaul. He says this was a law passed by a “strong majority” of a democratically elected Congress. Was it? I thought it was straight down party lines. All Democrats voted for it, without even reading it; all Republicans voted against it. That doesn’t sound like a strong majority to me.

Why is our President issuing a challenge to the Supreme Court to approve what he wants? As a former social studies teacher, I always taught that Congress made the laws, the Executive Department enforced the laws, and the Supreme Court interpreted the laws. When did that change?
