Dwyer presents at collegiate event
Cedar Creek teacher Mark Cross and Cedar Creek student Ryan Dwyer attended the 80th annual meeting of the Louisiana Academy of Sciences, a collegiate event, in Alexandria on March 10. Ryan competed in the physical sciences division against 11 college students from across the state. He presented a poster session titled “Efficiency of CFL Lights,” which explained and documented the results of experiments that were conducted under the direction of Cross. His presentation was well received by the judges and Ryan gained valuable insight into future academic and career choices. Ryan is pictured here explaining his project to one of the judges.
