Andy Dalton, the starting quarterback for the Cincinnati Bengals, works his way out of a rough area on the Squire Creek Golf and Country Club course during a recent appearance at the “Big Whit 77 Foundation” charity event that was held at the Choudrant-based resort. The former All-American at TCU was one of the top first-year players at his position in the NFL during the 2011 season and led his team to a 9-7 record and playoff berth.

CHOUDRANT —”The Red Rifle” fired a lot of winning shots in 2011.
Andrew Gregory Dalton did it, too, in a year defined by outstanding rookie quarterbacks in the NFL.

There was, naturally, Tim Tebow.
And, of course, Cam Newton.
