As I recently took some time to search the Internet for random bits of news and information, I started to realize just how technologically advanced our society has become over the course of my lifetime.

Being born in 1988, I am lucky enough to be one of the people who grew up to experience life with and without the perks of Internet usage.

And I must say, from my first encounter with the tool — me and my dad waiting for the dial-up connection to connect us — to now — streaming any television show or movie I want right to my Xbox — things have improved drastically, making me wonder what the next 20 years in technological advances will bring to the world.
