Hirschhauser, Aycock exchange vows

Brittney Hirschhauser, of Victoria, Texas, and Benjamin Aycock, of Hico, recently exchanged wedding vows. The couple were married in a 2 p.m. double-ring ceremony March 24 at Mineral Springs Baptist Church. The ceremony was officiated by Brother Greg Tipton.

Brittney is the daughter of the late Matthew Hirschauser and Becky Hirschauser, of Victoria, Texas. She is the granddaughter of the late Henry Roell and Ruth Roell, of Victoria, Texas, and the late Weldon and Beatrice Hirschauser.

Benjamin is the son of Billy and Cathy Aycock, of Hico. He is the grandson of the late Jerry and Betty Jo Brown and the late Lavelle and Virginia Aycock.

The bride, given in marriage by her mother, wore a formal gown by designer Mori Lee from King of Hearts and The Bridal Shop. The floor length gown of ivory silk taffeta featured a fitted, dropped-waist bodice with a ruched sweetheart neckline. The full ruffled skirt was accented with beaded floral appliqués. The gown featured a corseted back that fell to a chapel train.
She carried a flower bouquet of peach porcelia roses, pink cabbage roses, dark lavender stock, blue agapanthus, lime hypericum berries wrapped with ivory satin ribbon.

Serving as maid of honor was Tara Klacman, of Victoria, Texas. Matron of honor was Loris Seacrist, of Dubach. Emily Hirschauser, of Victoria, Texas, Tiffany Cooper, of Dubach, and Amy Aycock, of Dubach, all served as bridesmaids. Junior bridesmaid was Laney Cooper, of Dubach. Each bridesmaid got to pick her own dress. All dresses were champagne, chiffon floor length. They carried hand held bouquets consisting of porcelina roses, pink cabbage roses, dark lavender stock, lime hypericum berries with lemon leaf at base of the bouquet.

Serving Benjamin as best man was Phillip Seacrist, of Dubach. Tim Johnston, of West Monroe, Derek Fontenot, of Simsboro, Shaye Hirschhauser, of Victoria, Texas, and Trevor Hirschauser, of Victoria, Texas, all served as groomsmen. Doug Cooper, of Dubach, served as usher for the ceremony. Junior groomsman was Colton Cooper, of Dubach.

Serving as flower girls for the ceremony Addison & Kate Hirschhauser, of Victoria, Texas, and Presley Klacman, of Victoria, Texas. Ringbearer for the ceremony was Owen Cooper, of Dubach.

Music for the ceremony was provided by Dianne Stuckey, pianist.

A reception was held following the wedding ceremony at Lincoln Hall.
Serving at the reception were Burton Entertainment and the bride’s friend, Donna Manning, of Monroe, served cake.

Wedding coordinator was Diane Harmon, of Homer.

Prior to the wedding, a rehearsal dinner was held at the Mineral Springs Baptist Church fellowship hall on March 23 and was hosted by the groom's parents.
Leading up to the wedding festivities the couple was honored with a few showers.
On Feb. 25 a Cajun themed couple’s shower was held at the Seacrist residence. The shower was hosted by Lori and Phillip Seacrist and Tim and Emmy Johnston.
On March 3 a bridal shower was held at Best Home Health. The shower was hosted by Becky Murphy, Melissa Parker and Mandy Robertson.
On March 11 a bridal shower was held at the home of Amy Aycock. The shower was hosted by Amy Aycock, Tiffany Cooper and Diane Harmon.
On March 4, a bridal church shower was held at Mineral Springs Baptist Church. The shower was hosted by the Mineral Springs Church ladies.

After the wedding the couple honeymooned at Big Cedar Lodge in Missouri and upon returning now reside in Dubach.
