Services for Jimmie Ann Sutton Revels, 86 will be held at Hill Crest Funeral Home on Monday March 26, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. with the Rev. Greg Tipton officiating. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will be receiving visitors prior to service beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Jimmie Ann Sutton Revels, formerly of Bossier City, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at North Louisiana Medical Center in Ruston, Louisiana. She was a long-time resident of Mineral Springs (Dubach), Louisiana. She was the daughter of the late Jesse Adolphus Sutton and Willie Annis Miller of Bossier City, Louisiana.

Mrs. Revels is survived by her husband of 69 years, Fred Wallace Revels. Also surviving her are a son, Fred Michael Revels of Mineral Springs, Louisiana; two daughters, Mrs. Gayle Parker (Don) of Elkhart, Indiana, and Mrs. Linda Gates (Greg) of St. Charles, Missouri; and a sister, Mrs. Mattie Breithaupt (Frank) of Shreveport, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, a sister, three step-brothers and two step-sisters. She was a devoted and loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother (5 grandchildren), Great-grandmother (10 great-grandchildren) and Aunt of numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Revels was an active and devoted Christian, and a member of Mineral Springs Baptist Church for many years. Her family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in memory of Jimmie Ann Sutton Revels to a Christian charity of their choice.
