Mayor Edward R. Jones opened the Public Hearing of the City of Grambling on Thursday, May 1, 2014, at 5:30 p.m.; the purpose of the public hearing was to get input from the citizens concerning the following:

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GRAMBLING AMENDING THE GRAMBLING GARBAGE, TRASH AND WEEDS CODE TO PROVIDE FOR SERVICE FEES FOR DUMPSTERS BASED ON SIZE

Sealed bids will be received at the Louisiana Tech University Purchasing Office, P.O. Box 3157 T.S., 408 Keeny Hall, Louisiana Tech University, Ruston, Louisiana until 2:00 P.M., July 23, 2013 at which time and place they will be publicly opened for the following:

Notice is hereby given that the Lincoln Parish Police Jury has declared that the following described item owned by the Lincoln Parish Library is no longer needed for public purposes:
Item 1: Reference/Service Desk
Minimum Bid: $6,000.00
There will be a public sale of various surplus vocational equipment held at Dubach High School Agriculture Department on Thursday, July 12, 2012 from 8:00-11:30am. Items include Woodworking and Metalworking equipment. All sales are final and for CASH only. Lincoln Parish School Board reserves the right to reject any offer.
